ST7 Control Strategies (3 days)

A study of various methods of controlling pressure, temperature, level and flow. Students will review ON/OFF control and its suitability for particular processes. Control system responses will be examined as gain, reset and rate are varied. Cascade, ratio and feed forward control will be examined to show the effect of each system. Various industrial systems will be studied examining the control strategies used for these applications.
