Industry Training

ST45 Electronics Diesel Fuel Injection Troubleshooting Diagnostics (3 days)

The student is able to recommend repairs for diesel fuel injection full-authority engine management systems following manufacturers recommendations. Upon successful completion the student is able to: Define the fundamentals of diesel fuel injection full-authority engine management systems. Describe the construction features of full-authority electronically controlled diesel fuel injection systems and components. Explain the principles of operation of full-authority electronically controlled diesel fuel injection systems and components. Perform the inspection and diagnostic procedures for full-authority electronically controlled diesel fuel injection systems and components. Outline the checking procedures for electrical connector sealing and ground connection integrity.
