ST17 Introduction to Instrumentation (2 days)
An introduction to the instrumentation field outlining the duties and responsibilities of instrumentation technician, instrumentation technologist, and instrumentation engineers. Instrumentation standards and industry practices related to the measurement and pressure, temperature, level and flow. An introduction to ISA symbols and standard signals found in this field. Electronic fundamentals will be reviewed including Ohms Law, power supplies, transistors and operational amplifiers.
