ST10 DCS Advanced Applications II (3 days)
This module is a continuation of Module 18 Process
Control (DCS). Students will study some of the more
advanced features of the DCS and learn how to configure
and implement some more complicated control strategies
Module Content:
- Control loops for temperature level and flow will
be planned, configured, programmed and tested using
the Bailey N-90
- Trouble shooting skills will be developed and used
to implement the loops
- Basic, Ratio and Cascade control loops will also
be configured
- Loop turning methods (Proportional, Integral and
Derivative) will be used to accomplish optimal control
of the loops
- Remote control through the use of a PC using CLS
software along with local control using Digital Control
Stations will be covered.
