ST3 Automatic Control I (3 days)
Students taking this module
should have completed the ON/OFF control module or have
a solid foundation in ON/OFF control. Open and closed
loops will be reviewed and proportional only control
will be introduced. Proportional control for pressure,
temperature, level and flow will be examined using typical
process loops. Both electronic and pneumatic control
will be examined.
