Cambrian College, through the Skills Technology Institute (SkyTech), provides employers with an opportunity to invest in the future through participation in the Co-op Diploma Apprenticeship program. By hiring our students on a sixteen-week co-op work term, you will have an opportunity to preview the skills of prospective employees, while helping to train the next generation of tradespeople, ensuring that a skilled workforce is available both now and in the future.

Our students are registered apprentices, sponsored by SkyTech. Upon successful completion of the Co-op Diploma Apprenticeship Program, students will graduate with a College diploma in their field, they will have completed all three levels of in-school training, and they will have obtained practical on-the-job experience.

Cambrian has 40 years of experience preparing students for careers in the trades. Employers can be assured that our trades programs meet or exceed all expectations for cost, quality, and technology, resulting in highly-skilled, work-ready employees.
