In 2005, Cambrian formed a partnership with Hanson International Academy located in Toronto to ensure that students have the opportunity to study and work in a metropolitan environment. This partnership offers many benefits to local and international students.
Cambrian College and the Dr. Mahalingam College of Engineering and Technology (MCET) have formed a partnership that provides Indian students the best options to obtain a truly quality international education with recognized credentials. These two well-known educational institutions are collaborating with Cape Breton University (CBU) in Canada to offer degree-completing options to students in Tamil Nadu.
In November 2006, Cambrian College received funding to deliver mining-related training in Tanzania. Funding for the project was made possible by the Association of Canadian Community Colleges (ACCC) through the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA). The project will be implemented over the next five years.
