Alumni Advisory Committee to Hold Annual General Meeting

Cambrian College’s Annual General Meeting of the Alumni Advisory Committee will take place on Wednesday, September 24, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. in room 2514 at Cambrian’s Barrydowne Campus. The evening will include an overview of alumni accomplishments and information about upcoming events.

Call for Nominations - Cambrian College Alumni Award

The Cambrian Alumni Association is seeking nominations for the 2008 Cambrian College Alumni Award. Presented annually to a Cambrian College graduate, the Award recognizes outstanding contributions to Cambrian College and to society through his or her professional and personal excellence and outstanding community involvement.

Cambrian has developed and enjoyed a very positive reputation-a reputation earned, in large part, by the calibre of its graduates and their input through membership on the College’s Board of Governors, program advisory committees, Alumni Association and so forth. This Award acknowledges this very important sector of the Cambrian community.

Nominations of Cambrian graduates will be accepted by the Cambrian Alumni Association until Thursday, April 24, 2008. The Award will be presented to this year’s Alumni Award winner at Cambrian’s Spring Convocation ceremony in May. The Award consists of a framed certificate and a $1,000 scholarship named after the recipient that is awarded to the program from which he or she graduated.
