2002 Cambrian Alumni Award

Each year since 1992, a member of the Cambrian College Alumni Association is recognized for their exceptional contributions to Cambrian College and society.

This year, at spring convocation, Ms. Patricia Mills, Journalism Program 1990, was named this year’s recipient. Patricia Mills is the publisher of Northern Ontario Business, she taught Cambrian’s "Issues in Contemporary Society" in the Journalism program for two consecutive years, and is a valued member of the college’s Advisory Committee for the Journalism Program. Patricia is also a member of various community associations, this includes: The Northern Ontario Business Awards, The Area Association of Business Publications, The Parent Council of Carl A. Nesbitt Public School, and The Chamber of Commerce for Sudbury, Timmins, North Bay, and Sault Ste. Marie. Patricia Mills has reached a great deal of accomplishments for herself, for society, and for Cambrian College.
