Members Recognized for their Career Achievements and Contributions to SocietyThe Cambrian College Alumni Association recognized our nominees for the 2002 Premier’s Awards on Wednesday, December 4 at the Fontaine Bleu dining room. The nominees this year included Martin Bayer - Business Administration 1984, Heather Blondin - Dental Assistant 1977- Dental Hygiene 1978 and Intra-Oral Dental Assistant 1997, John Caruso - Social Services 1973, Terry Del Bosco - Civil Engineering 1984, Christian Gravel - Physical Fitness and Leisure Management -2000 and Patricia Mills - Journalism 1990. In addition to having six exceptional nominations, the Alumni Association is very proud to announce that our Business category nominee, Martin Bayer, was the successful recipient of the Premier’s Award at the provincial level. As a recipient, Martin receives a bronze medal, a framed certificate signed by the Premier of Ontario and directs a five-thousand dollar bursary to the college(s) of his choice. On behalf of the Cambrian College Alumni Association, we extend a heart felt thank you to all our nominees for taking the time to help us with this year’s nomination process. We look forward to next year’s nominations and encourage all our members to help the Association to recognize the career achievements and contributions to society Cambrian graduates have accomplished.
