Rex Holmes and the Cheetahs

The Cambrian College Alumni Association was pleased to present Rex Holmes and the Cheetahs at 8 p.m. on Friday, April 22 at the Cambrian College Student Centre, located on the College's Barrydowne campus.

It was a Flashback to the 70's and 80's and groove to the popular songs of the era by artists such as the Rolling Stones, the Bee Gees, ABBA, Blondie, Hall and Oates, KC and The Sunshine Band, Smokey Robinson and the Miracles, Rod Stewart, and Sly and The Family Stone.

Everyone that attended got out their bellbottom jeans and platform shoes for your chance to win a prize for the zaniest retro outfit. Delicious retro appetizers and an unforgettable evening of music from the 70's and 80's featuring the great vocals and the exceptional musicianship of Rex Holmes and the Cheetahs band members Kevin Closs, John Newlands, Chris Peplinski, Sean Perras, and Pandora Topp.
